19's what to get??
SOOO I got 3-4 months before spring and Im in the process of deciding rims...wanna go 19's this time around... got about $1000-$1500 budget just for the rims; just been browsing a lot thru the photo gallery and still can't decide. I might as well start a thread to ask for people's opinions and what the community thinks...
so far here is the list
GTC01
Raijins
AvantGarde M310
Forgestars f14
VMR 710 or VB3
TSW Nurburgring
Varrstoens 2.2.1 or 2.2.2
HFP
...possibly Vossens CV3
Mesh,concaved,multispoke...whatever just give me some suggestions feel free to add new rim ideas

GTC - nice, expensive, nice. mr. 0 made these wheels sexy, and they will remain so.
Raijins - nice, but as an owner, i have grown to dislike the concavity alot, its practically convex and the only way to avoid it is to go with a 9" width which is pretty excessive for the TSX. looks best in photos
M310 - designs off for some raisin
VMR VB3 - perfect if you can find a place you trust enough to redrill wheels, but then if you are redrilling, you could open the list up to way more interesting options
Varrs - again, very aggressive fitment, not personally for me but maybe you want to stretch it
HFP - nice, hard to find cheap, ull need to run spacers, but the color will go great with your ride and they look nice too
Vossen - CVV3 look like a flower from some angles, not my cup, id rather get the stance sc-5. I think the CVV2 would be amazing on the TSX, but youd have to be rocking 20s and some sick fitment for that
pics from another forum i hump:

the GTC's are pretty nice
raijins, m310, VMrs, tsw you basically you chose 4 of the same wheels.... so i guess you really like this design. ( they are really similar to mine if you wanna see how they look on my car go to my progress thread, mine are 18") ^killer i don't think 9" is that aggressive, my wheels are 8.75 which are close to 9...
f14s are nice but i only like them if your slammed
hfps are ugly imo
and im a vossen hater so im not even gonna say anything about them.

Damn the vossens vv2 are nice but Im not gonna rock 20inch rims...also on the raijins yeah Ive seen on some pics where they look convex more than concave
Just feel like mesh rims looks good on the TSX thats why both of you (killer and slick) both rocking them...
Yeah the GTC01... got the idea from Mr Oto's car
the TSW's I might get a good deal on them thats why I put them on the list....

9" isnt really aggressive and i guess people go up to 10.5 but given the limited torque in the TSX and shit I personally would rather err on the side of 8.5 more than like 10 say
those XXRs are unique in their width but you gotta pay to play the concave game
form>function>form etc blah blah i know

Chicosito... not a fan of those but to each his own thanks for the input..
Its looking like GTC01's is the front runner right now... I did like my MB battle's design any 19's rims similar to those
Proffesor I do like the 19inch RDX rims... but looking for a more aggressive/aftermarket look

I was trying to buy GTC-01 before i bought raijins
Try searching on the NASIOC forums, ive seen a few sets leave there in 5x114 at pretty decent prices
we also seem to have similar taste since this is pretty much exactly like my wheel choice list, i went with raijins before i saw em in person and a big factor was also the price
If I could do again, Id do 19s for sure, and id also get the offsets right the first time. Im installing spacers w/ extended lugs and that shit aint cheap either, nor is it easy, so I shoulda just done the right offset from the get go.
Theres also g37 IPL wheels, enkei ammodos, RPF-1, alot of lexus wheels are gorgeous if you are willing to machine the hubs out (F-spider wheels, ct200h-F wheels)

gtc gets my vote
vossen def. gets my vote
varrstoen gets my vote if you can pull off the fitment
f14 i like, but in deep concave size
tsw = totally soft wheels
hfp = super weak offset
forgestar = 3 months wait
enkeis = not bad, if you get concave.

If I had to choose from your options,
Id got with Vossens, Varrstoens, or the HFP's (with spacers).
XXR is coming out with a 19" version of their CCW rep in early 2013 and so I am probably going to get those next year.

Re: the GTC01s, I worked in the financial services industry and all my coworkers (including the president) loved my car. So, can't go wrong with the "WTF" factor there.
I've been playing a lot of GT5 and the Enkei RP03s have been growing on me. They come in 19s, and I would probably do the SBC color. Plus, I don't think anyone's done RP03s on the CU2 yet.
Why weren't you in the market 3 months ago?!?!?!?

You know what I like. Killer said they are hard to find cheap. I don't know what cheap is to him but I would think 206 a wheel is cheap. I paid 900 shipped. I went through the same thing your going through, so many choices. Hurry up and get another 'guess my wheel teaser thread going'. Happy hunting.

My 2 cents, in no particular order.
CF10s, as pictured above.
Enkei RPF01s, as pictured above.
Enkei GTC01, as pictured in all of Mr Os threads.
Also, others not on your list that I think would look good on a TSX:
SSR SP1 (probably expensive):
Nismo A34 (Maxima), seen here in gunmetal and in silver (yes, the G35 sedan guys like those):
And don't forget Rotas, you can find a knockoff of almost any popular design there.

XXR, the brand formerly known as Sportmax. I would be skeptical of quality and durability like if you ever hit a pothole or curb, but at least they are cheap to replace. Also, they tend to be heavy, so keep that in mind esp since you want 19s. And because I know someone will say they don't track the car so heavy rims don't matter, generally speaking, any discerning driver will be able to notice the slightly increased sluggishness in acceleration, especially on a low torque, heavy car like the TSX. Heavy rims also minimally impacts MPGs, but that's probably not that great of a consideration. Not saying no one should decide on a certain set because they are heavy, but just wanted to throw that out there for discussions sake.

Hint: Mr. Oto's car. Replicate!
Granted it's imitating, but it's soooo nice. I love just about every car posted in this thread. Pure car pr0n.
