09 Grigio TSX

Hey guys, new on here. I'm 23, live in Washington State (Kitsap county), and am an e-5 in the Navy. Married, with a little one on the way (in the next day or two!)
Been wanting a TSX for a while, and finally picked myself up one.
2009 Grigio Metallic TSX, 6 speed MT. All stock right now (as far as I can tell... still learning about CU2's), but definitely planning on doing some work to it.

Coming from a '91 Accord... And still have my '06 Pathfinder. Love the Accord, but time to move on to a big boy car. Drove it to a few car meets around the country (I used to live in Kansas City before I joined the Navy), like Chicago and All Florida Meet in Miami (where I won best 4th generation Interior! ) Glad to be back on the Honda side of things after a little time off.

Great color! Lucky to get the 6 speed. It's so much better than the auto. Best gearbox I've had! Enjoy!

Thanks guys! Not quite sure what I'll do first... but I really want to get rid of the grille. That's one thing I can't stand about Acura's recent styling, is that big ol beak. Still trying to find all the different styles of other grilles though. Are there any good retailers for aftermarket stuff like that? I tried HT and Excelerate, but didn't really see anything like that. Looked around on the site, but didn't see much for sale in the Black Market section

Thanks guys!
Plans: Small drop (I'm over slammed cars after my accord haha), some nice, dark wheels, clear the headlights out, maybe colormatch the grille, and I can't decide if I like the wing spoiler or lip. Not a whole lot of plans, I really just want to give it nice, tasteful touches

I couldn't find any good pictures of interior on this computer... not a whole lot done to it, just a mint 91 accord tan leather interior with a few black accent pieces, Honda of America steering wheel, integra clock. Basically just very clean

Nice car - I'm also 23 and recently bought a 2009 Grigio 6MT. For the grill, I had a bodyshop paint match the plastic grill surround, and leave the shiny center part untouched. Might go back and get the whole thing painted Grigio, but I like it this way for now. I also got the OEM wing spoiler installed. I think I was charged ~$230 total for the paint work and spoiler installation.

Could you post another pic (maybe outside in the sun) of the front end before painting the entire grill? Mine is peeling (not covered under warranty) and am either thinking of painting instead of getting a new one.

sure, give me a day or so and I'll try to get a better picture outside. have to say I really like the look now and probably won't paint match. Having the big "chrome" strip makes the car look a little more premium vs. paint matching the whole thing (which would make it look like a '12 Camry or Optima).

there is a TSB for that, they should cover it regardless of warranty because it is a know defect

Hi guys! Been a while...
Did a little grill work, not sure if I like it. I may or may not be leaving it. Plasti-dipped it, masked off the outer areas.

And today, I was planning on putting on my Aero side skirts and rear bumper. Only to find out...

Surprise! I'm dumb. My car is actually Polished metal metallic. I never actually checked the color codes after I bought it (and didn't know anything about the different colors beforehand), so I pretty much guessed when I bought the bumper and side skirts haha. Strange thing is, though, I was actually sent PMM side skirts. Trying to decide if I'll just pay the money to get the rear bumper painted PMM, or if I'm just going to sell the rear bumper and skirts. Today was a pretty disappointing day.

Aww... I bet that was pretty rough having it be the wrong color. Aero is such a good upgrade though.

I was pretty bummed out when I realized it haha. But oh well... they were a pretty good deal, so I can't be too angry about it.
