06+ TSX valve cover compatability?

Hey,

I am just wondering if anybody knows for sure if the 06+ TSX valve covers fit our engines. I am in the middle of doing some engine dress up and might need to purchase a new valve cover.

I just noticed that it is a lot easier buying a 1st gen TSX valve cover. From my observations just on the surface, they look pretty similar. Thanks!

I mean they had A2 version of the K24... probably just means they made slight changes in cams, or rocker arms or something. I would say it's pretty safe to say it would match up.

Here is a cell phone picture with some of my engine parts already painted. But this is far from complete..it will look much better once its all done. My spark plug cover is off in the photo, because it's currently being painted purple too. Then the valve cover, I am hoping to make a full mirror polish, along with my RBC manifold (match my intake tube). Pretty much a polished + purple theme. So far I only have these 2 parts painted. It is the same purple as my wheels. I want to try and get a little more attention this year so I thought engine dress up was necessary.

And yea I ordered the PRL RBC manifold adapter kit so it should finally be able to work. Polish first though, then install :P

Thanks kos!! Even if the civic si valve cover works (or the 1st gen TSX for that matter), doing the swap will require re-installation of all the gaskets and seals. Is that kind of universal or will it be affected by what kind of cover is being put on?

the 2012 civic si will work

the cover and the 2 adapters are like $20 total
but it's black not silver

i dont think the 06 will work but I'll try
the cutouts for the pipes and other cutouts are clearly different

sorry should have readi t more carefully
