Wheel Question

So i was looking at my local rim shop for some wheels, and they have a set of NEX-O M-20 18x7.5 +45 rims in stock. The guy said he would let them go for 110 each for me (ordered them in for someone and they never bought them)
Are they semi decent should i jump on it?

This is what they look like

Would you at least post in the correct forum.

I think we'll let you keep it here for a little while.

No clue as to the quality.

For you, I'd seriously consider an installment plan.

I do those all of the time. That's how I get the mods for my car. lol

As for those wheels... if they're new in the box, and they already have the tires to go along with them, that's not a bad deal at all.. My first place to by my wheels from was wheelmax.com and I was all ready to make the purchase, but then again Jared (kuni808) posted his rims up on the blackmarket, and I bought them instantly.

If you're going to get rims from wheelmax, make sure they're not too busy... aka.. less rivets.

Also.. racing harts?.. com'on man..EVERYONE has those things... they're cliche now. Kris, you have the first '00 TL-S 6MT, that's original, keep up with the theme and get some original wheels.

honestly I like those wheels. Get a lip kit and a drop first (if you don't have one already), worry about the rims later.

I think they look good, and like you said - even if they only last a year you would still get your moneys worth...

Yo Kris,

Perfect size and nice lip on those. Does the pic have the same lip depth as the wheels you saw in the boxes? Sometimes they use a pic of the low offset wheels since they have wider lips in most cases than the higher offset wheels do, unless they are multi-piece.

If so, that 7.5" width and 45 offset should sit real nice with the fender edge of the car, w/o any rub. May need to trim the tabs just a touch, but after your 6 speed install, that would be like putting in gas for you! That is a good price. Get him down to 100 per wheel and tell him you'll take em!

Those wheels would look hot without out the smaller spokes, thus a 5-star pattern.

Appleton Wisc. Hey somebody somewhat close to me I live 5 minutes from 6 Flags in Gurnee, IL. Have a new Silver 07 TL-S Want to put A-Spec body kit, and a set of 18-19" rims. Not sure about lowering it. And I want to tint the windows, but cops around here are Nazi's!!! Maybe de-badging?

No problem Kris, they couldnt be going to a better home. I could not believe how long they were sitting in the b/m, and at that price! Wheels were a steal in that condition, if I didnt have 3 sets of wheels and another on the way, I woulda thrown the greenbacks up for these. Cant wait to see em on the TL-6
