Type s spring on base model

I pickup a base model 3.2 TL and the previous owner claims the type s spring will enhance base model. Need more inputs if anyone ever install Type S spring. How does it ride and is it lower? Thanks! He even included the type s springs.

That seems pointless, the sprig rate my be stiffer but if your going to swap springs get a better aftermarket one. Also I beleive most of the handling differences come from thicker sway bars.

If you can get the tl-s springs for a good deal, Yes you can replace the tl-p springs for firmer control and has the same height. Otherwise, get a set of sway bars and you wont regret.

You need the Springs + Type-S Sway Bars to have the complete Type-S handling Characteristics.. And Nope they Stand at the Same Height..

It rides great I have almost no body roll in corners now and the car feels more planted to the ground when turning. Does feel stiffer than original but that could partially caused by the struts I'm using and having them turned up to a stiffer setting

Yup Im too on H&R Springs! They really are an Upgrade over the Original Type-S... BUT They seems to Shine on Adjustable Struts rather than OEMs.

My Setup = H&R Springs + Tokico Iluminas Shocks + Eibach Anti-Roll Bars.
