Tokico HP shocks v. KYB GR-2

I need your help you guys I plan on lowering my 2002 TL-P I am going to go with Tein H-tech. I heard the drop is pretty good on the TL-P rather than the TL-S. I was thinking of which shocks to get and I need your opinion. I want a light drop the H-tech is perfect for me i believe and i probably wont need a camber kit.

Im either going to by the KYB GR-2 or the Tokico HP which I saw on ebay for 265 and the GR-2 where 180. Im really not concern about the price I just want the better product. Please let me know which one I should run with

Also are the Tokico HP , Tokico Blues???????

Thanks again, I will await your responses

most people choose the HP over the GR2. the Blues are the HP just so you know. i had blues on my last car and i am getting them for my tl i loved them. daily user friendly but still makes a diff in the control of the car. def a good choice for milder drops. personally i can trust a strut that is that cheap
(gr2). good luck.

I have Tokico Blues on my car and love them. Ebay is the best price you will find anywhere for Tokicos.

well honestly i did a good amount of research because i wanted to see if the sag was true on the type s. and most of the pics i saw were messed up tl-s or the 99-01 style which were fine. i would try and see if someone has a pic of a 02-03 tl-p with them on just to be sure. i mean its pretty bad on the tl-s its worth looking at before commiting. you dont wanna pay for labor and find out it sags. just to buy new ones and have to do it again. im getting h&r sport or tanabe. they both sit great with the type s. you might wanna consider tanabe for that height range you are looking for. hope that helps.

one can assume many things.... but the h techs are very interesting springs and all i am saying is look into it. thats what i would do to avoid a mistake you can also say that the type s would be heavier or the same in the front as a tlp but look at the diff. it makes no sense at all.

did you see in some of the profile shots that the front is higher then the back? its definately worse on the type s, but that would drive me insane. take a close look at the gaps. if your ok with that, then go for it.
