Toe issues on H&R OE springs
My summer tires(225-50-17) got worn out pretty badly on the inside this is why I'm getting new tires. One alignment shop told me that I don't need a camber kit while the other insists that I get one! He says it doesn't matter if I'm lowered .5" or 2", I need one none the less because I changed the geometry by lowering it and adding wider tires. What do you guys think?

I am lowered on HR Sport springs and have no toe issues. Never put on a camber kit and my alignments are always dead nuts on. Although you are on wider tires...how much wider???

I also had H&R OE springs and 225/45/18 tires on my previously owned 2G TL-S. An alignment was done at the dealership after the springs and shocks replacement. It was tight and adjustments were maxed out, but the suspension could still be aligned to the factory specs.
Unless some suspension components are bent out of shape from road impacts, and as a result, adjustments are out of range to achieve the factory alignment specs; there's really no need to add any camber kit if riding on the minimum-drop H&R OE springs.
