Tire Size
If I upgrade to a 17 x 7 wheel for my 2000 TL, what size tire do I need to look at to stay with the same diameter as the stock 16 x 6.5?

Thanks. I think I have finally figured out the numbers. If I figured correctly, the 225/45/17 is going to be around 3/4" shorter than the OEM and the 215/50/17 will be only about 7/32 shorter. If I go with a 225/50/17, that would be around 3/16 taller. How much difference can there be without affecting the speedometer? And do my figures sound correct. Again, thanks for the help.

215/50/17 or 235/45/17 are the closest you can get
i recommend 215/50/17 because it has more than enough grip on our car with that setup and best fuel economy![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
that's what i have with my 17x7 wheel

if you want more performance on the all season, Falken ZE-512 or Sumitomo HTR+ is way to go
