I'm looking in to dropping my TL and I'm wondering if these kits are the same...

My friend has an Eibach Springs Pro Kit that he took off his 99 Accord. The pro kit box says its 4041.140 I looked up springs for the TL and noticed it uses the same kit ( if I'm reading that correctly). Does anyone have any experience with Eibach Springs on their TL? Is it going to effect my ride very much? I would expect some harsheness correct? Everything else on the suspension is stock. He's willing to give me the springs since he sold his accord long ago and has no use for them. If they are the same fit, should I take him up on the offer? Would there be anything to watch out for getting used springs? He had them on his accord for less than 3 weeks before he sold the car.

 

The spring will fit your TL no problem. I had the eibach prokit spring too, pretty good i'd say a bit stiffer than stock pretty much like the comptech springs. Why not take his offer? You will be glad once you installed these.

 

Darrin has those on his '03 CL-S. Beautiful drop, good ride, nice handling. He likes it.
