it's good to have at least 1.5-2 in drop minimum to get the best results

he's on coilovers, and the best results are from 1.5-2 inches for Teins

but our car is too heavy, so go lower than that will bottom out a lot

Tein H.Tech

If you are looking for a minimal drop, I suggest The Tein H.Tech springs.
The drop is 1.3 front and 1.0 rear. Plus keeps the stock ride. No bumpiness or harshness at all, and supposely there is no camber issues. I've had them on my car for a couple weeks now. I'm really happy with mine. Good luck.

Sorry fellows but I had to say something here. I am running TEIN Basics since April 2005 and the minimum drop is at around 1 inch. Plus I have mine lowered at 2.25inches front and rear and never bottom out once. Just need to be more careful when you drive when you go more than 2inches. So don't get mislead when someone says you will bottom out all the time when you go over 2inches. Not true at all!! Unless you go fast into a parking lot speed bumps or big pot holes. One more thing is the TEIN Basic's Shocks are made to handle the loads of lowering up to the max. So that is the reason why you buy the TEIN Basic kit rather than going TEIN springs with OEM Shocks. So just to let you know the TEIN Shocks should handle fine with a 2inch drop or more. But any suspension, the shocks will go sooner or later after all the wear and tear. Nothing last forever!!
