Tein Basic Review :)

Well I finally did it…installed my tein Basic…I have a tight tow finger in the front and a 1 finger in the back…install was pretty simple, my neighbor and I did it. Well all I got to say is a notice a dramatic difference from my stock setup. When I pressed down on my stock struts they took about 40 secs to come back up.
I drove around for about 100 miles on the new setup and handling has increased a lot, the car does not feel like a boat any more or float around on the highway. The ride is smooth and comfy but you can tell a little that you’re dropped, but by far these are the best coilovers I have ever felt. I am getting a set of 18 next month and may be upgrading my sway bars to eibach. The Tein setup is not rough or harsh is firm and solid. There is no bone jarring bounces or bottom out feelings.

To sum everything up the TL feels like it’s on rails and it’s not going off the track, anyone who is debating on getting should stop and pick them up….well actually my bro get them fro me since I bought his kit for the RSX

How long should I wait to get an alignment…1 month?

Thanks

I love my Tein SS setup. It is great! I also have the eibach sways and it is a great combo. I'm sure if I drove a stock TL-S now I'd say "eww!"

I got mine from Excelerate. He has very good prices.. just shoot him a PM.

Or you could get them from ebay I'm sure. I have the SS which is the ones that support EDFC. If you want to be able to adjust how stiff they are it is worth the extra money.

TO me i think the Basics is good enough, if you don't plan on changing the dampening then get the basics.

I have the basics on my TL-P and it's the best. Good choice for peeps looking not to spend alot and great choice to lay that whip down.
