Tein Basic Questions

Hey guys wats up.....well i recently got married and you know its time for a family ride now so i was orginally going to part out the TL and sell it....but i am gonna wait...till it dies then get the new audi A6 the supercharged one

my question is i want to put back on my stock suspension to get a smooth ride...my teins are a no finger gap all the way around....if i where to rasie my teins up to a 2 finger gap or even 3 finger gap how would the ride quality feel?

will it be smoother and a little more firm? i know i will get less camber wear

i was wondering if anyone had done this before.

thankssssss

TEIN Basics aren't that firm. Raise it up to the min drop and the ride quality will improve. It will still be dropped about 2" F and 1.6" R.

by raising up to minimum height does that mean turn the dails on the coil overs to the top?

I didn't think all the way at the top was Teins reccomendation. That would set you up WAY high

edit- if you decide to part it, dibbs on the blower. PM me if that happens.

Chimes in ---Married With Children--- song haha.
Congrats man. If you've been riding around with a no finger gap, that's already not in Tein's recommendation. Might as well go up. After riding with a no finger gap, you'll notice the difference. I went from no finger gap to 3/4 of the way up when I had my accident (hooray for Tein!) and it was a really nice ride IMO. Heck, if I got married or had children, I'd raise I'd probably raise it up too. Stock is just ridiculously high. Play around with it. THat's what it's for. It's easy to adjust too.

Oh, gotcha. But, two things. One, you could always take the charger off and make some money back, and two, a supercharged A6 isn't going to take away your temptation! But an A6 would definitely be a nice step up from our TL.

i must say the TL with the charger is a diffrent car....when u line up in second gear to race cars its like they are not even moving...and mine is not even tuned yet...i just adjusted the fuel pressure.

the charger will not hurt me the most to sell since i got it at a steal...the thing that will hurt me the most is my ron jon wheels and my BBk those are the 2 things that i love most about this car......Ron if u see this thread these are by far the best and hotest looking wheels i ever owned....they are strong and can with stand those NYC pot holes

the BBK well just look at it how it looks...when i stop at a red light and i look over everyone eyes are always looking down and not inside the car lol
