Since I got new tires....should i get these rims?
Hello, I got a 2002 TL-P NGM TL. I recently got new Yokohoma Avid H4s (225/55-16) on my car on stock rims. Im wondering if this would look/fit any good for my current tires/car.

The reason I don't want bigger rims is b/c I got these new tires already.

Those are pretty nice wheels.
But IMO, don't let tires dictate the wheels you get, let the wheels you want dictate what tires you get.
Those wheels would look very nice in 17" or 18"

the speedometer has nothing to do with the rim size, the sensor actually is located at the axle, that spinning thing is what calculates the speed, and I believe same applies to the odometer. Also, when u get new rims, they are only like -+3% of the OEM size. (since yer getting 18" with a 40 profile tires, its almost the same size as 16 with 60 profiles tires)

Do bigger rims easier to get damaged? there are a lot of potholes and such in my area.

Save your money and move up on size of rims at least 17" ... my
OR ... save up for your next car. Don't dump any more $$$ on your car unless you're keeping her for at least a couple more years. Tint, sways ... better investment than same size rims.
BTW ... what rims did you mount your Dunlops? Steelies?

Since these don't cost as much, I just wanted some type of style to them, that why I picked these.
smaller rims = weight less
more rubber = less prone to crack or bends on rims, I still live in a fairly new area, so the pavement is still uneven.
I plan to keep my TL for about 5-10 yrs, or when the tranny problem on it is REALLY bad.
So would the offset for these rims be okay for my TL??
OR
If I find a really good deal on a set of 17"/w tires that will cost less than my total investment in these rims (roughly $500)
