Question Silver Star Rims what do you guys think?

Ok, I’m looking for your approval even thought I swapped the rims out already. So what do you guys think…Silver Stars or the standard Type-S rims. All comments, positive or negative are welcomed.

If those rims are gona be your rims that stay on forever, then DROP IT MORE cuz those rims dont look that much bigger then stock and the gap is lookin some what big. If those rims are not gona be your rims forever and you plan on getting some other ones, then THOSE RIMS LOOK GOOD for the mean time.

You can pick up a set off the dealers for about $1000-$1200, they are the accessories for the 2005 TSX and Honda Accords. You can get the same set for the new Civics (Performance Package), but their offset is 45 vs 55 for the TSX/Accord. I paid less than half the dealer cost for mine

funy looking combo. OEM front lip, WW side skirt, rear mudflaps?? hahaha, get rid of the mudflaps and look for the OEM or WW rear lip.

those are definitly nice looking rims though. i was looking at them for a while, but nothing really came up for a price that i really wanted it to be.. plus its only 17's. i opted for 18's so i went for something else.. get a drop and your car would look great.

I had a ww front and rear lip, came out one day and found that both were gone, so I picked up a OE front lip and been too lazy to find a rear. The rear mud flaps are there to keep the crap off the car, if and when I will get a rear lip. You know anyone one that has one laying around? I don't want to spend too much more on the car, trying to save for a house.

In the SF area your going to have to save up a lot of money to buy a house very unrealistic with this housing market. Me personally when i'm ready to buy a house I'm looking outside SF, maybe even outside California...

Right now 2Bed 2 Bath homes in hunters Point are going for 600,000-800,000 very crazy

Yes prices are crazy, I am looking at the 800k range. Actually, I put in a bid for a place in the Sunset for 775k. Hopefully I get lucky, but I doubt it.

yep with tires. nothing real special tho, just kumho ecsta <----did i spell that right? they have about 35% tread left and i've had them for about 10,000 miles. thinking of changing to something a little better soon anyway. take a look at v6p's sale section from time to time. some the guys with the accords will have them for sale and all you have to do is swap out the center emblem for an "A" which they have for sale at handa.

If you're buying OEM rims, I like the Type-S rims over silver stars. Silver stars are nice ... but Type-S rims are nicer. My Get a drop if your driveway permits it.

If they were available in 18"s I would probably have gone for them as well (possibly with a Sport drop instead of OE Sport). What I like about Silver Stars is that they weigh about 8 lb less than Type-S wheels.

Type-S all the way. The Type-s look more aggressive and for some reason bigger as well even though they are the same size

Those rim look good but I think the type s still look better. I just like the fuller look, if that makes sense. Silverr star, their spoke look a little thin to me and not as aggressive. But, if you drop it , they will look alot better. Still a great set of rim.

anyone have a pic of these on a Diamond White Pearl TL-S? I like them. I need to replace two stock wheels on my car (just bought it, and the previous driver had no parking skills), so I've been eying other OEM honda/acura wheels that might look good as a complete replacement
