Shock recomendation

I was wondering what shocks would be a better choice for dropping my car should i stick with the factory or should i go with the KYB AGX shocks. I have tein drop springs by the way.I know the factory shocks are made to for comfort with the stock springs but idk if ill have the same comfort if i put shorter springs.

Im sitting on Tien S-Tech with Tokico Blues. The ride is basically better than stock. The KYB are basically the replacement of stocks shocks. The Tokico give it more of a comfortable ride. Remember though, once your dropped you will sacrifice ride quality.

I think that the Koni yellows are probably the best for our 2Gs, but I went with Tokico HP (blue) and saved about $300. I don't regret getting the Tokicos though - they're great - ride is better than stock, nice and controlled with no harshness. You can get a great deal on the Tokicos from AZ vendor Excelerate.

The HD's are designed for stock springs, not lowering springs.

You're welcome.

On a side not those of you looking into KONI should consider the KONI/Neuspeed SP3 shocks. They are $540 shipped and have 5 perches instead of 3 and a shortened shaft for lowering springs.
