Shaking/Vibrating when braking
Since this has been going on for a while, i finally changed my front brakes and rotors. Hoping that everything would be gravy it still shakes like i had warped rotors. I've read that axles may be the problem. Is it true? What other things can i do to stop this sh***. Thanks in advance for your help guys!

When braking is usually the rotors. Did you put quality rotors on? Have your ball joints inspected. I would take the axles off the list since it only happens while braking. Looks like you have aftermarket rims. Do you have hub centric rings for them? One last thing. Your rear rotors, they can cause shaking in the wheel too. Have you had them replaced/resurfaced?

I would inspect things up front first. Look at ball joints, make sure wheels are tight and not over torqued. Look for discoloration on the rotors to see if they are glazed over causing the shake. Did the shake go away at all after the change of rotors or no?

^^ After replacing the front rotors, shaking is still there. I do want to mention that the front right rotor is missing the set screw that holds the rotor. I was told by a friend that its not a big deal since my lugs are properly torque. Is this true?

If the rotors are brand new and you are braking them in softly...they should not be warped even if they are cheap.. I have some decent rotors I just changed out as well all 4 corners and mine still shakes a bit....
I am thinking it is my alignment.... since I got new rotors took that off my list...maybe ball joints since that has never been changed out going on 115k now..
Let me know if you find a solution..
