Serviceable Ball Joints?

Wondering if anyone is aware of a way to re-grease the ball joints. Older vehicles had grease zerk fittings to allow for routine adding of lube during in service life. Are there any mods for the TL to allow this?

There's aftermarket upper BJ's available that have grease fittings.

With the oem units, no. Some of the aftermarket ones have the fitting to do so though.

Remove the ring around the oem joints, remove the rubber and grease em like that, if you somehow tear the rubber you can get them from the dealer for $6/piece

Some shops use the "Needle Method" to grease the LBJ and that's it. Only UBJ has grease fitting if you go aftermarket.

Those are helpful responses, thanks all. Do you have vendor recommendations for aftermarket BJs?

I personally would just get OEM, but needed camber adjustment.

For the lower ones I did OEM. Only reason why I replaced them was because the rubber boot ripped. If I knew I was able to buy the rubber itself then I would have saved myself a few dollars... like $20

You don't need a new control arm for the upper ball joints.
The upper ball joints are much easier to replace than the bottom ones.
