well, what is an improper rim placement..?...

if lug nuts aren't tight, or wheel is out of balanced..? or maybe w/ directional tires, they are on wrong..?

Are you lowered? If so, what kind of suspension, and how low? Camber kit present on the car? What size wheels/tires? Describe the noise a little better than "a loud noise". Is it a clunk or a grinding noise?

did u had to install centric rings before u put the rims on? check alignment, are the rims balanced? proper tire inflation?

This is actually what may help u: Did you tighen the lugs before dropping yer car? and then after dropping tighten to like 85lbs torque? did u use 5 star method to tighten?

just take the wheel out, and put it back on...if u put it on wrong, maybe its an angle or something, this can hurt u.

peace

Sounds like your offset is too low, and the grinding/rubbing sound is caused by the tire hitting the rear bumber tab.
What's the width and offset of your wheels? And what size tires are you rolling on?
