quietiest but stickiest?
i need new tires but don't know what to buy. i'm loooking for something really quiet and sticky. is there such thing? and low price as well. tell me what you guys have in mind. oh, it's for my stock 00 rims if you needed to konw. i do lots of hw driving so quietness is importants but the winter is coming up and my sister will be ddriving in the snow. girls + cars + snow = so i want her to be safe as well.

This really should be in the tires and suspension section, but i'm gonna recommend the same tires I just bought recently for my 00 TL-P. The Goodyear Assurance tires... I've got pics of them in the tires and suspension section.
They are a 80k warranty tire, good traction in wet, dry, and snow (haven't tried them in snow yet). Very quiet tire. By no means is it a "sport" tire so don't get too excited, but they handle just fine for mildy spirited driving... no squealing...

Bridgestone Fuzion's you cannot go wrong with these tires. You don't even need to get the whole set for satisfaction, just get 2 new fronts and you will feel a dramatic increase in traction. THese are by far the best tires I've ever experienced.

We had a few Maserati's and a Lamborgini outside where we work on Friday (a local dealer is having a concours). All of the Maseratis had Pilot Sports on them.
They come stock on a lot of very high performance cars.

well, i'm really picky when it comes to spending money. i only spend it on something if it's worth it. everything i buy i do research. just like the TL well, i basically want my tired to be quiet and sticky. but i don't want to lose performance. so basically i want our stock tires, but quiet. any ideas? been looking at the gy assurance. good and cheap but, H rated??

I got a set of Pirelli P Zero Nero 225/50/16 on my TL-P, had them for about a month now, they are very sticky and have a better than average rating for snow. As for the noise, quieter than the stock michelins.
