Plan on running 18x9.5 offset 12?

i looked at the forums and from what i read im still not convinced any advice on what i have to do to mount these wheels? I went to an alignment place and they were going to charge me 600 in order for the TL to get the camber i need.

alignment shop = whack

offset +12 might need lots of work...

you'll need roll... lots of pull... massive stretch. and lots of neg camber.

or... cut fenders up, do flares.

I thought this was going to be for a 3G, so I was going to say "Good luck."

But for a 2G... Don't even bother trying (unless you're going to have professional bodywork done, that is).

Oooook yeah thats what i was thinking. So if I go 18x9,5 or 18x8,5 i need to go with offset what? to just do minimal modification like fender rolling.

The other thing is they told me that in order to do camber i have to buy over 600 worth of parts is that true for our acuras?

2 of these for the rears

http://www.ingallseng.com/38720-smar...-bushings.html

and 1 of these..

http://www.ingallseng.com/39204-3920...all-joint.html

http://www.ingallseng.com/39203-3920...all-joint.html

thats just under $600..

imo, for 18x8.5 and 18x9.5, you could probably do like.. mid to low +30 and run around 215/40/18 for the fronts and 225/40/18 for the rear tires.

then let the front sit with natural camber and only buy the rear camber arms. rears will still need a good roll and very minimal pull

you'll need at least -3 camber front and -4 camber rear to fit these wheels comfortably without having to do major body work... 215/40 tire and you're set.

BUt personally, I wouldn't go passed a 18x9.5 +25. But that's just me...

I would recommend 18x8.5. I'm running that with +50 offset and a 225/45 tire and all I needed was to cut the rear bumper tabs. I'm dropped with maybe 1-2 finger gap in front and almost none in the back.

18x9.5 offset 12 ?

You'll need custom bulging fenders.

Just the maximum amount of grip possible to scare my passengers That and for my new motor. Keeping over 300NA whp tame needs big rubbers.

Oh, and I can already get above that now with my setup and street tires (per g-tech pro) 1.07 Id love to see what i would pull with R compounds with a 275 though All i know is my seat cant keep me in it now with my 255s (i stuff a Styrofoam/foam board on each side of legs to help keep me in place on track days. I really need better seats)

^^^^^ You definitely need better seats, with that amount of tire grips.

Something like Sparco and a 4-point seat belt set up, will make sure that you're still staying tight inside the driver's seat while pulling some maximum g runs.
