New rims now I need drop

OK I finally decided on rims, Im getting windows tinted this weekend and then a drop next week. I need a very subtle drop so I am thinking H&R OE springs, does anybody know the best place to get some cheap? Also about how much should I expect to pay to have them installed. Thanks!

Saltb,

Here are some links for you to investigate on buying your H&R Springs:

1) www.shox.com

2) Assuming they sell H&R Sport springs for about $189, the H&R OE springs should be more or or less the same price. Call them and see if they stock the H&R OE springs.

3) Here's another link for you:
www.tmengineering.net

4) There used to be a website/retailer called www.speedcustoms.com and it was the Lowest price I've ever seen on the net but I am not sure if they went out of business or just the website is down.

I've personally bought off www.shox.com and www.tmengineering.net and had no problems with shipping and reception of goods. Find the lowest price anywhere and ask www.shox.com to price match and you get free shipping if their price is not as low as their competitors. Secondly, Todd at tmengineering.net should be able to do the same also.

Recommendations: If you are going to use H&R Springs with stock shocks, the stock shocks may wear down prematurely ( i.e leaking) causing you to have to replace it - hence, meaning more labor, time and money. So you should think about what may happen ( some members had no problems also); alternatively, you can pair the H&R OE springs with aftermarket shocks and do it the first time right.

If you have chosen proper wheel width, offset, tire width, you can probably consider other lowering options without problems. If just want mild drop, then it's okay for sure.

You might want to consider Tein H.tech springs also; I believe it's a mild drop also, which I have a link for good prices also. Probably under $200 too; some places even install. PM me if you're interested in link.

Good luck with your drop on your car. It should make the car look and handle better

Michael

Also, nice fricken rims on the TL!

1) What kind are they?

2) Do you know the offset, tire width, rim width of your setup?

3) Where did you buy them from and how much?
