Need advice 4 installing H&R lowering springs
HI guys;
I was thinking about lowering my 00 TL on H&R sports (1.75 front and 1.5 rear) and I had some questions:
1) I know the ride will be rougher after installation but how much rougher? Can I really feel the difference?
2) I have 18x7.5 rims with 225/40/18 tires however I rolled my fenders so it won't rub! but I have heard that aftermarket springs result in UNeven tire wear, is that true?
3) Can I allign the car like factory after installing or its is gonna be a little off?
4) Do I need a camber kit or something else to make it work right?
BTW, I want to use my stock shocks, Is that ok?
5) will I have rubbing issues with my current setup? (18" rims)
Thank you all for the inputs
Please help me deside since I got a good deal on a set of H&R sport

Ok. lowering your car will make it slightly rougher depending on the spring and shock set up you use.
we dont know if it will rub. we dont know your offset, that is more important thatn size. Lowering your car will result in uneven wear ONLY if you dont get it aligned. After its lowered you can get an alignment and they can get it to factory specs. It possibel you may need a camber kit for the rear. you will find out when getting an alignment, they will give you your specs.
You can use the factory shocks, but they will wear out slightly faster with lowering springs on them.

Actually you will probably need a camber kit for the fronts. From my experience the sotck suspension is hard to get back to spec when lowering with anything greater than 1.5". Hold off for a few month until the springs settle, then get your alignment and see if they can get it back to spec.
