lowering advice?

Hi guys. So i'm going to be replacing my stock rims with 18" rims and I want to only lower the car maybe 1.75"-2" max. So what would be the most cost friendly thing i can do? Would I need to get coilovers or merely springs? thanks.

Springs would do it for the drop you're looking for. Try looking @ H&R/Neuspeed springs.

Depends on the life of your current shocks. If they are relatively (10-25m) new then don't bother.
