lowered look but factory ride possible?
lowered look but factory ride possible?
so i am lowered on accord eibach sportline springs and stagg struts.
after settling, i'm guessing the ride is dropped about 2.5" F/R and i'm wondering if it's at all possible that there's some lowering springs out there that are more tuned towards ride comfort.
i am getting rather tired of feeling every single bump in the road but i don't want to go back to factory springs.
can anyone let me know what they're comfort experiences were like with other lowering springs.

none really.
closest would be Tein S-tech or H-tech.. and H&R OE Springs
you won't get the same drop as your current Eibach.
If anything, you COULD try getting shocks that have damping adjustable like the Tokico Illumina or the Koni Yellows...

Hey guys, I may be getting older......but I still really love the way our 2nd gens look once they're lowered, ya know it's really sexy to see the flowing lines of our TL's hugging the road a bit closer, ......kinda makes me feel a bit jealous at times and I know the women like it too, but such is the way of life !!!!
All I can say, is enjoy and make the best out of it while ya got it.

Koni shocks and H&R sports will give you as close to possible stock ride if you take the time to adjust them properly. I actually prefer the ride i have over stock. Firm but not harsh, not a bumpy ride. A good set of coilovers that are adjustable could as well. Key is to not slam it. The lower you go the less suspension there is to absorb bumps. Going below 2" will really effect the ride.
guess i'll have to research. i wanted to raise a bit before snow gets here but i'm prob cutting it too close.
i'll see if i can find a good deal on some adjustable shocks then and see if i can get a better ride from the eibach

I took off eibachs, and put on h&r sports after a year. The h&rs sit about .5" higher, and ride way better in my opinion. I'm currently running kyb agx adjustable struts; I had tokico illumina adjustables with the eibachs. The h&rs didn't sag after a year like the eibachs did either.

Just got the car back from my tech. Installed Eibach Pro System Plus kit and a few other front end parts. The car rides NICE ! Very close to OE, but is bolted to the ground. The sway bars that come with the kit really help with turn in as well. I got all new OEM fittings from the dealer. We made "quick struts" before hand from the parts eibach sent.
Now, I do not envy my Gf's MZ3's handling. Ill put some pics up once the drop settles. It looks now how it should have come from the factory.
