K-Sport Kontrols

Ok..im finally back to work..so im going a little nutty on buying stuff for the TL

I am 99% sure im going to get the K sport coilovers...from what I can gather the only complaint people have about them is they are super stiff. Anything else I should look out for? i thought remembered reading on another forum that they blow out somewhat quick..but im not positive..

Input?

yea, i checked it. thanks!

Ksport dyno results..

Ok, so I know this isn't a test on Supra specific shocks, but it is at least a little helpful to the brand and their valving at least. I wish I had the money to actually do this with at least most of the shocks we use.

I figured I'd post this here as I think you guys would better understand the importance of this test, even if it isn't tested using Supra specific products.

not quite comforting to see this..

Thank you very much for the input..I wouldve been quite pissed if i spent that sort of money and was that unhappy..especially on kaka NH roads

Looks like ill have to do some more research...

Just poking around a little..it seems like the cheapest I can find the D2s is at weaksauce....for 750 plus shipping..

Im just basically looking to lower the car to get rid of some wheelgap for DD duties...then lower for cruises etc...

Again..thanks for the input...and more is always accepted

are you kidding me? the ksports are not THAT stiff to induce back aches, let alone vomiting. lol at weaksauceness. I have had the ksports on for a good 2 years now at a pretty damn low setting and to me it's fine...probably not even stiff enough for me even with the dampening set to the stiffest setting. I would say a stock s2k rides stiffer than my ksports at medium dampening.

i personally haven't had problems but I have read about blown shocks and such.

K Sports are firm and track inspired but D2's and Function and Forms aren't any more "comfortable". I think TEIN makes the highest quality setup for the TL but K Sports' coilovers are good quality. They also have a 1 yr warranty.

my k sports are trouble free as well (although for a tsx). the only real issue i've had is dialing in the perfect drop/dampening setting because i'm anal. there's so much adjustibility sometimes i wish i got a set less complicated. for the price, ksports can't be beat
