Hub Centric Rings Help

Hey Guys

I'm trying to figure out the correct size rings to get for my g-games wheels that will be going on in a few months. The bore on the rims is 73.1mm. What is the bore on the stock TL-S rims? Or for others who have bought hub centric rings what is the correct ones to get.

Thx
Michael

The centerbore for the stock wheels I believe is 64.1 or close to it. Pretty sure somebody will verify that.

Yes, 64.1mm is the stock bore. I had to get some hub centric rings for my Zenetti's. I got a 73mm to 64.1mm hub ring set for $15...they work perfectly!

there are a bunch of online places that sell them and you pick your car and your brand of rim and voila...a set of rings are on their way to your house.

I got them from a place here in Denver called Performance Wheel and Tire, they had some in stock for $15 for a set of four. I may go with the aluminum style down the road, they are more sturdy and don't crack like the plastic ones do.

thx for the numbers. I just picked up a set of aluminum ones from discounttiresdirect on ebay using the numbers i needed since they didn't have any info on the g-games wheels. So i have set of 73-64.1 on the way for less than 20 shipped.

thx for the info!!!

Folks,

Cov3rr1d3 stumbled upon an excellent deal here. In all my years of experience, metal hub rings do a much better job of keeping the vibration away with your aftermarket wheels. The plastic rings get hot, cool down, get hot, cool down when driving and start to "gap" inside the wheel which can still lead to vibration. Plus, they break easily. The metal rings don't do that and stay tight in the wheel hub while driving in all hot/cold situations.

For $18.50 shipped, this is a superb deal! I've seen some metal rings selling for $50 a set from some no-name sites. I just ordered some from the info below. Here is the info and sales pitch from Discount Tire Direct. (Quality Outfit by the way)

You will most likely require a 73mm to 64.1mm hub ring. Most universal wheels are 73mm in bore size, but you may want to call your wheel shop or wheel manufacturer to find out what your size is. I have Zenetti wheels and they are 73mm. Discount Tire Direct may also have the info for you. If you want to see the actual add, do a Metal Hub Ring search on Ebay (no ebay links allowed).

$15 + $3.50 shipping for a set of 4 METAL hub centric rings

Discount Tire Direct Part Description

Metal Hub Centric Ring Set for Most Cars

Description: Header
Brand New set Metal Hub Centric Rings for passenger vehicles with aftermarket wheels The rings are color coded depending on the vehicle and wheel application, actual color may vary from auction.

Do not be fooled by the so-called Poly Carbon rings. Metal rings are much better quality than plastic/poly carbon rings and are made to a more exact, closer tolerance for a proper fitment. They won't crack, melt or break over time like plastic rings do. It is mandatory to provide us with the wheel manufacturer and vehicle the wheels are installed on at the auction end! We will send you a set of rings specific to your vehicle.

We request that bidders email us to positively determine if these will fit your vehicle. Emails will be answered as soon as possible Monday-Friday.

In case you don't know what hub rings look like, here they are. They go in your hub of your aftermarket wheels and then it will center it on your hub with no play to ensure a 100% centered fit like OEM wheels.
