I personally wouldn't go past 1.50" due to the fact your ride confortibility will be compromised the lower u go and the more likely you'll hit a curb and possibly crack your front bumper, but i must admit i love the look at 2"+

Right now with stock everything and even now i think it rides high, i know when i throw the 3rd gen wheels on there it raises it even higher. I wouldnt mind dropping it 2" but im worried about rubbing and my shocks

Also, what should i do first?
drop then rims? but what if the drop isnt enough when i put the new rims on?

rims then drop? then im 4x4-ing and dont know what size tire should i get?! i know that 235/45/17 are stock but those are big for 2nd gen and im worried about rubbing..

sorry i'm asking so many questions but i really dont want to mess up my car.. the possibilities are mind boggling..

You won't have any problems with rubbing with only a 2 inch drop because the 3G wheels are still a relatively weak offset (+45). Also, the 235/45-17 is the same diameter as the OEM 215/50-17 so your car won't be higher when you throw on the 3G wheels.
