how low is your tl dropped?
i just bought new shocks for my 02 tl but cant decide how low to drop my car.
Im thinking of going with:
Eibach Pro-Kit: Part# 4041.140
Lowering F/R: 2.1 - 1.6
And throwing some 18's on...
but i have no idea what that would look like.
can you guys help me out n send me pix of your car lowered with 18's? I want to get an idea of what my car would look like after.
thanks

I'm riding on Tein Basic coilovers at the reference drop which is apparently 2.1" in the front and 1.7" in the back, but since the TL is heavier than the Accord (which these teins are designed for) my TL sits with less than one finger gap in the back and one finger gap in the front. It's a great height for me where I need to stay there all year round.
Essentially I'm lowered a little over 2" front and back I believe.
Oh and my ride is still nice and comfy. It was better with the 17" TSX rims, but with my 18s it still rides quite nice.

tein makes their basics for accord, tl and cl the same..
they all have the same part# which is DSH94-LUSS2.

do you have a side shot of your car ?

Thanks for clearing that up Jjashaa (same part for accord, cl and tl cause they share the same platform)
Dave I do have a side shot, but the way I'm parked on the street distorts the looks of the drop because of the uneven road.
I agree with Rockstar on the Eibach's. If you want to go the spring/shocks route those give a great drop with a nice ride.
My car is filth at the moment which is why I haven't posted new pics of my ride since the drop and new wheels, but I'll
try and get some good shots in the next little while here. Once I do, I'll update in this thread or post them in the photography gallery.

my TLP wheels were about 1/4 " higher then the TLS wheels.. both with stock size tires.. also different brands have their own characteristics..
my 18's have slightly smaller tires.. about 1/4" and its noticeable in the gap.
17's on the other hand.. almost line up perfect with the fender..

even when you try to get the tire and wheel combo exact.. its gonna be off some..

As for the 17s and 18s it should be the same if your tire sizing is correct. My 18s are 25.4 Thats not 1 inch difference.

That suggests that your 18s with tires are actually taller (larger diameter) than the Type S wheels with tires.
