H&R sport vs Tanabe NF210

I need input from people with either of these drops. I'm considering the H&R springs with tokico hp's (blues) and want to know from people who are running that set up if you needed to buy a camber kit. I'm looking for a slight drop without having to deal with camber kits or having to buy adjustable shocks, like the tokico illumina, bilstein, or koni. Will the HP shocks hold up to H&R sport springs? Input from people who have been running this set up for some decent mileage is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

H&R Sports aren't exactly a subtle drop. Go for the Tanabe NF210s or Tein H Techs.

Thanks. I was kind of figuring that with the HP's. I'm kind of on a budget, but don't mind having a slight drop over a more severe one if most of the wheel well gap is taken care of and the car handles better.

H&R all the way. Best spring made. I didn't need a camber kit with mine. And i wouldn't call a less than 2" drop major! Car rides better than stock.

TOKICO HP's are designed to work with a lowering spring. They are even valved more aggressively than the OE shock. H&R or Tanabe will both give you a good drop with a slightly firmer ride.

PM me if you need any of those parts.

I had my H&R sports on for a good 30k miles on stock shocks. It ran like a charm from day one. I didn't need a camber kit and the ride is perfect. If you're looking for a cheap set, I'm selling mine in the black market section. The link is in my sig

He asked for subtle which is H&R OE or 1" like mentioned. Subtle is not 2+" after settling imo.

I just got Tanabe NF210's and Tokico Blue's installed recently and the ride isn't bad, but not as comfortable as stock. The handling is worlds better especially with sways. It feels like the car levels off quicker after going over a bump which is a plus.

Since you have 16's do you think you can post a pic of the tanabe drop with them?

Just looked at pics of your ride. That's about as low as I want to go. No lower. Any issues with tire wear w/o a camber kit? Oh and how many miles do you have on that set-up?

I'll post some pics when it's nicer outside. It's shitty up in Maine right now. Wayyyy too much snow this year.

It's cool. I saw pics of JMAL's car on here with the tanabe drop. Both drops look good to me. I like that tanabe has just slighty stiffer the TL-S spring rates, my car already has a few interior rattles...

The springs are a little stiffer, you will notice it. It's not too bad. On Maine roads in the winter it sucks, but on better roads it's actually fun to feel the car sticking to the road more.
