Front Suspention Parts
hey guys,
my front suspention has been making weird clunking noises lately, and looks like the outer tie rods and upper ball joint on the passenger side are worn out. i found this kit on ebay includes: 2 Upper control arms w/ ball joint & bushings, 2 Inner & 2 outer tie rod ends ,2 lower ball joint , and 2 sway bar end links. just wondering if these are quality parts? has anyone used ebay suspention parts? thanks

If you are driving an 09 Acura you posted in the wrong section.
However, I will try my best to respond with what I have on my car. I personally have eBay front and rear camber knock off kits and they have worked flawlessly. I know there are some people that will knock on the quality of the kits available, but I would just use common sense when buying kits. If you buy a kit that is 20.00, buy at your own risk, but if there is a comparably kit then you should be good.

my guess would be it not sitting properly since you barely got the suspension correct?
when you first installed it how was it like? if they are different than how they were when you first changed it, and your struts are mounted correctly, it may be blown shocks although from what i know, blown shocks dont affect height much, only travel.

As far as the quality, I'd personally go with OEM parts for these. One bad ball joint and your wheels can fall off. And also you don't need to replace the whole upper arm. It's just easier so you don't have to press out the ball joint.

Tie rod ends aren't that hard. Remove the cotter pin and nut and lift it out. Then release the nut on the threads, hold the inner part with a vise grip and remove the tie rod end. Oh and measure the thread length so you can match the number of threads on the new one. And get an alignment afterwards.
