First you need to drop your car. It'd be best to drop it on some coilovers so you can adjust the height.

Well I think you should probably consider what you like, finish of the rim, color of the rim, and price you are willing to pay for a set of rims. You can find some great deals on used rims in the Black Market.

Side Note: If you are up to it a drop will make the car look proportional if you up your rim size. There are threads on this so take a look a see.

^^^^yup what he said..also decide on the size of wheels you want...most 2g tl owners go 17"-19" wheels..but hey if you want to put 22's on it go ahead..its your car..you plan on lowering??????

No a drop is a must before modding anything. Gotta sit nice first.

A drop is the last, because if you've decided to get rims with some wild offsets, you may only be able to drop very little or can't even drop at all.

^^^^ thats why you get coilovers...

you drop FIRST... then wheels..

and if you get wheels that dont allow you to drop at all.. you should shouldnt be buying them....

Definitely do the drop first. Your car will look very goofy with bigger wheels and no drop.

I think most people will agree on dropping the car first, but if you come across a good deal for rims by all means don't pass it up. Just DO NOT..... I REPEAT DO NOT post pictures on the car before a drop, you will get lit up like the 4th of J-U-L-Y.

Like I said if you have enough cash to do this I would recommend you buy rims and do a drop at the same time. The overall look will be nice, but don't forget to get an alignment after the drop so you don't tear your tires up!

Examples:

BEFORE my drop

AFTER

figuring your suspension out first is gonna help you decide the route you wanna go regarding wheels. (height differences, etc)

for the rims....

diameter, width, offset, tire size, disc, etc... all play factors
