Diagnosing VSA Issues - What are the process steps?
2002 TL-S with 260k miles. Have the VSA and /!\ lights on and want to properly diagnose the issue before I start replacing wheels speed sensors, etc. I've connected my scangauge and there were no codes present. Car runs and drive w/o issues - other no VSA.

You need a Special Scanner to retrieve VSA Codes... If you have 1 that can Retrieve VSA Codes then it Must be Under
HONDA > SPECIAL > ESC (Electronic Stability Control) Codes
At least it is on my Scanner.
If you have a Normal Autozone Orange Scanner it wont pull them as long as they are not their top of the line.
I Advice you to go to a Local Suspension or Wheel shop they could have a Generic VSA Code puller and wil help you. If not only Choice left is Honda Stealership.

OK, thanks for the input. I've been doing a lot of research into VSA diagnoses and the M-VCI is the scanner of choice. I did find one available through Bosch for 2,100 - ouch. Guess I'll be making a trip to my Acura dealer.

Hey Smcafee, at your 260k mileage....chances are that a wheel sensor has gone bad.
Someting to consider before going to the "stealership" would be to visually inspect the actual wheel sensors the best that you can. Oftentimes a hot rotor, bad wheel bearing or even a corroded connection can cause sensors to fail. Try to recall when your last brake work was done and if anything seemed out of the norm, as this may help you narrow down a possibly bad wheel sensor.

I'm having the same issue and was told it was the ABS pump going bad and not worth the expense to replace. Is this a common issue or should I be looking at the wheel sensors too.
Symptoms started with VSA, ABS and /!\ lights coming on and off occasionally for 2 months. Now constantly on.
