Probably not, too close to the sidewall. But I'd still ask at a tire store.

If they are low profile, performance tires they will probably tell you

Its just to close to the edge.

It should be okay if you ask for a patch only.

I believe an internal patch is the only way you can fix a tire now. I had a patch done recently and the guy told me that the lawsuits from plugs and how they could damage the steel belts, etc. made it so nobody does them anymore.

Took it to americas tire co. they were real cool. Instead of buying a brand new tire @ $325 the rep offered to give me road hazard insurance on my current tires for the price of $160. So now im getting my old ruined tire replaced under road hazard insurance

I reccomend americas tire co. to anyone. They match any advertised price as well.

From my experience, America's Tire Co. has excellent customer service. I brought my brother's Jeep in there a couple months back for a flat tire. They fixed the tire for free even though I didn't buy the tire there. I asked what the catch was, and they just asked me to keep them in mind the next time I need to buy tires. Great deal!

He joked around as I was leaving, " You know the tread on those tires average 12-15k miles. I should be seeing you sometime soon again, take it easy!!! "

he won my business on my next sets of tires!
