Black 03 TL with Black shoes

would these be ok? 18X8. I was also wondering if I could squeeze in a set of 18X9 on my car.

What is the offset on the rim? I would give them a call and post back. I think for 18's you need 45+ to fit our TL's. Don't take my word for it though... do more research before purchasing rims. Apparently our car is not an easy match for aftermarket rims.

I called them and they told me that they come in 40 and 42. I think that'll be pushing it. I am going to settle for the HELO Tease 18 X7.5 with 225/40/18 NEXEN tires. The guys at the shop are offering free springs too. I just have to see how far they drop.

BTW, I know about the rim thread. I have read about it before. Thanks for the . We'll see how my ride sits after I install the wheels.

Good luck with the new wheels. Post up some pics when you get them mounted. As for the tabs, they are part of the rear bumper; where the bumper and the rear fender meet.

Looks like you're local As far as the springs are concerned, I'd be careful. What brand of springs are they? Installing cheap springs can be a regrettable experience.

The first set is what i originally wanted but the original maker is breyton. they make special wheels for BMWs only. but they make the replica. if im not mistaking KOBE makes the exact same wheels but with a +45 offset in 19s only though. so im not sure if you want to run 19s. but yeah wheels next has them. nice set though.

Well I'm not going with the black wheels. I purchased a set of 18 X 8 Damani Dunamis. 5 split spoke chrome with a 2 inch lip. The place I bought the wheels from doesn't have the springs in stock. Not sure what type they are. I am talking to a guy from canada who is selling me his oem kit too. I gotta get it painted black and install my oem spoiler also. I thought about slappin some H tech Tien springs on the ride. I don't want it too low but I do want the car to sit better and have the wheels fit in just right. THE RJ's are hot!! Where are you located?

Wow, looks like you have a lot of good things going on As far as springs are concerned, you might want to look into the H&R springs, a lot of people on here have them (including me ) I'm located in NoVA BTW. Good luck with your project and don't forget to keep us updated on your project

Good luck ... usually 8" rims do not fit our cars due to the high offset requirements for our cars. The 'wheelsnext' website is most likely inaccurate with regards to their 'filter' on what will fit our cars. That company does not have a very good reputation here. Hopefully, little to no modification will be required for those rims to fit your car. 2" lip is very difficult to find for our application.

Yea they did show quite a few wheels that didn't fit our 2nd gen TL. We'll have to wait and see how thses wheels I bought look on my car. How much are a set of H&R springs? What kind of drop do I get? Can I use stock shocks?

Man that fitment is pretty tight, I'm not sure you can drop your car without having any rubbing issues. Congrats, it looks like you're happy with your purchase

I'm going to talk to my buddy and see if he can roll the fenders for me. And cut the tabs. Then I want to slap on some TEIN H.TECH. The spoiler is being painted and I am saving up a little to pick up a OEM kit. How about the rotors? Any suggestions?
