Axis Penta

Does anyone know if the 18x8 or 19x8.5 Axis Penta will fit on an 02 TL (5x114.3)?
Thanks.

Possibly. You need to find out what the offset is. +40, +45 or something else?

Looks like it comes in 18x8 +40 which will require some mods to the fender liner and possibly rolling the fender.

Are you/are you planning to lower the car?

My car is already lowered. 1.5 in front and 1 in the rear (not too agressive). I want the axis penta rim on the car but the whole offset thing has been a problem for me. Do you know if I could go with an 18x8 without having to modify anything? I've seen the Penta on the 3G TL but not on the 2002.

with the 18x8 +40 you shouldnt need to mod anything.. i would cut the tabs in the rear just in case (not hard at all), but you really shouldnt have much to worry about..

When you say "cut tabs" what are you referring to exactly? I gues my question is this: What are the tabs and where are they located? Thanks.

you should be able to find some pics by searching.. the "tabs" that you cut are where the rear bumper meets the fender.. the bumper has "tabs" that the tires rub sometimes if the offset is a bit lower than usual when you are lowered..
