changing the height of the wheel wont change the height of the car....

you can def. put on 16 inch BBS reps, if you would like....
however, these cars look better with wider and larger rims...

yes, but you're bouncing all around?

this is why I asked you what your goals are in your other thread.
the fuck do you want to achieve with this car? lol

when you can answer that, you'll know where to take your car and what parts to buy

Hey Premiumspeed, how long have ya actually had the car.....?
If ya just recently bought the TL, take your time to get all the basic essential stuff in order before considering spending money on mods.

Make sure that the car is mechanically solid and dependable. Read up on the "DIY"s sticky about common issues and work on resolving them for awhile. With our 2nd Gens getting older, they are normally in need of some attention.

Save up your money in the meantime, and when the time is right ......let the modding begin !!! Lots of bargains in the Black Market sub-forum. Calm down a bit, clean up the car and see what ya gotta do first.

The very first thing I did on my cl was a timing belt. You don't want that to break. I would never just take someone's word that they think it was changed. You may even regain some hp. This is due to the old belt being stretched over time and the valve being off a little.

Yeah, all TL's either come right out of the factory with 16", or 17" on the newer "S" models.
But, when it comes to lowering and really getting the best overall look....most opt for 18"s.

Check out the Photograph Gallery for pics and then the Black Market for deals on wheels !!!

if your buddy gave you a free set of wheels, rock them!
the 3G TL wheels are awesome and fit.

what ever you do, do not powder coat them black

What are your goals for the car?

If I could, I would have kept my 04 base stockies. One of my favorite stock wheels.
