2G Sway Bar Interchangeability ???

Ive noticed not too many 2G TL owners are interested in suspention perfromance.

I like my cars to handel well, this car seems to be of a headache to make it handel well. ive done many searches to no avail, All teh coilovers I have found are either china built or have no real performance value. Swaybars, lol I have yet to find anything that was not for the accord.

My question is, has anyone used swaybars froma 3G TL on there 2G TL? From what I gather, they use quite simmilar suspention setup's in the rear for the most part. Id like to get H&R sway bars (great bushings and teh right size im looking for)

any intejections are welcome!

I put a rear sway bar off a 3rd gen. 6-speed type-s on my 2002 tl-s. I bought it at Acura for $32.00 and I feel it made a difference.

The rear is interchangeable with the 3rd gen, but that said get a complete kit and make the car handle even better. Get the Eibach sway kit from excelerate. Adding a better front along with the rear will make it handle even better than just the rear alone. Not to mention when actually driving the car at 9/10's+ the rear on this car already exhibits oversteer

Are you sure the H&R sways fit the 2G?

I've only heard of 2G people using the 3G OEM and Progress rear bars.

I've never seen anyone use the front.

Does H&R make front and rear sways for the 2nd gen? I dont think the 3rd gen Front fits the 2nd gen. THAT is why i said just get the Eibach kit.

the Eibach F&R sways are awesome, get moog endlinks to make them work at their peak as our OEM endlinks suck ass. The moogs are way beefier and therefore stiffer.

I think I was the first to do this...every TL owner should at least do this, since it's cheap and makes a good improvement. A lot of the 3G 6-speed or TL-S owners who upgraded theirs may even be willing to let go of their stock bar (its the same for 6SPD or TL-S) for little or no cost (I got mine for free )
