My TL was rear-ended by a SUV, refer to the picture.

Is it worth buying it back from the insurance company?

I have no idea how to make it pass the inspection w/o spending $$$$ on it.

Help and advice are welcome, thanks a lot.

Yep, Take the check. My Galant was totalled by a damn Saturn LC2 six years ago. I was sad to see it go, but I replaced it with the TL and was never happier.

I also don't wanna go through all the trouble of salvage title, repair, rebuilt title.

However, the damage is very light. I don't think there is any frame damage. Just because that the SUV is too high and heavy.

 

Looks kinda bad to me. Looks like the whole rear of the car was shifted forwards on the frame itself. I say take the check and fake hurt so the suv driver can turn that into a 2012 TL lol.
