Question At Wits End

Hello All,

Well im about to call it quits on my car...
I posted a few time about doing a tune up on my car and there's where my problem started.
Shortly after the tune up i got VSA and ! lights. I went and had the codes read..
P1399 - Random Misfire
and misfire codes on all cylinders...
I replaced the plugs resolved the issue with 3 cylinders but still misfireing
I replaced all of the coil packs - no change
I pulled the plugs tonight to exchange them with new NGK platinum plug to see if it would resolve this issue and of two of the plugs had trace amounts of oil on them.
I have 2 cylinders that don't even fire noted by the X
Back of Car
XOO
XOO
Front of Car

When i pull the lead on the above mentioned cylinder no change in the rythm on the motor, but if i pul the lead off any other the rythm changes...

I'm so ready to call it quits on this car and trade it in...

Any ideas on the problem and potential fixes?

what did you do for the so called tuneup

Give us a little more info so we can help out more. Did you try swapping the coils from those cyls to see if it still does it on 1 and 4?Have you inspected the wiring for any damages to the coilpacks?

The only thing I changed in the tune up was the spark plugs and the filter.

Yes i tried switching the coil packs, mind you the coil packs are new.

End result!

I took it to my mechanic and they found that I had a bad injector. Replaced it @ $89.00 for the injector and 311 in labor and diagnostics.

The car is purring like it should....

Big relief!! Thanks all for your help and feed back... Especially you fsttyms1...

Wow, $311 in labor. Has anybody else had to pay to get this done and was it comparable?

thats expensive. the shop im at cancels out the diag charge if you decide to fix it with us. i know alot of places aound here do that. its dumb easy to diagnose bad injectors when u have new plugs and coil packs.
