hey guys... so the other day i had my wipers on, and when i went to go shut them off they kept going until I turned the car off. I replaced the intermittent wiper relay and the fuse and that didnt fix the problem. So i got another wiper stalk and that didnt fix the problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

it was a common problem on civics
they would just continue to work in off position

 

i would have an electrician check it before diagnosing it as a bad wiper motor because that isn't all that cheap of a job so id start slow and go from there.

 

Yeah, ya could try removing the wiring harness connection to the wiper motor....... and thus disabling the power circuit to it. This would eliminate the relay and switch. Then directly jumper 12V to motor and check operation.

 

Hi been having some issues with my wipers and was having trouble finding the relay. could you tell me the exact location of the relay to check?

 

There's no wiper relay. Only an Intermittent Wiper Relay located in front of the wiper motor.
