i have a scratch on passengers side of windshield from wipers. how can i fix? took to auto glass place they said cant

 

its it a long scrap going with the movement of the wiper. then just plan on getting a new window. im sure that it could be fixed but it would cost more than a replacement.

 

typically they don't fill scratches. i know that they have an expoxy to fill chips and such but usually the premise is that it needs to be out of the area of road visibility because it will distort your vision otherwise. i have the same thing and i just ignore it. my entire windshield could stand to be replaced considering all the nicks in it but i don't want to break that factory seal just yet.
