Window Lock

I own a 2000 TL. My Driver Side "Window Lock" isn't working. I can Toggle it, but it seems to be LOCKED. My Driver Side Front Window works, but I can't raise or lower the Rear Windows or the Front Passenger Window. I've tried to work the failing windows from their respective switches with the same results. Is there a FUSE for the Locking Switch or do I need a NEW SWITCH?

so its working now- by making you the sole controller of all the windows
Or even driver cant operate the entire system?
and when turned Off- it stays the same?

are you new owner of the car?

switch probs often come from the `multiplex` device in the door panel

I bought TL new in 2000. The Switch seems to be stuck in the LOCK position. When I toggle it to unlock, I can't operate the 3 other windows from my driver side control or the individual switches at each window (door). It wouldn't be a big deal except that all three windows are down, and I can't get them up. I read in the car manual that there are FUSES for each window in the front right seat fuse box under the glove compartment. I'm hoping that will work, but it's a long shot. If that doesn't work, I'll take the car to Acura and pay $800 for the switch LOL. Thanks for the reply!

The switch is only 450.00 lol

My guess is its the switch, but check the fuses. You may want to try to locate a used switch and give that a shot before paying the dealer

Try using this site to locate one.
