winding noise

I have a bone stock 03 tl-s and it is making a weird "humming/winding" noise. The best way to describe it is similar to a car with a sound system installed that has a bad ground. Has anyone ever heard this? I have no idea on where to start looking. Someone help! Thanks in advance for yalls time.

do you get that noise when your tape is on or cd? just turn your volume down and it will go away.

if you mean car noise and giving stereo as example
Ck the wheel bearings- rears are a common wearout part
they whine then thump

if its front cv axle bearings, they click in low speed full lock turns
or make noise getting on freeway

there are wheel bearings in the front, plus the axle with its cv berarings

no, try it. turn on the tape with nothing playing and turn up the volume. the higher the rpm, you get a whine in the speakers because of the more power that is going into your stereo. its like a high pitched whine that threw me off for a while until i turned down the volume.
