Wind noise

2000 TL
I've been experiencing a wind noise from the driver side.
It sounded like it was coming from the intake and even if all the windows are rolled up, you can still hear it. It's not always there but sometimes it happens.

(Sometimes) If I drive at a steady speed, you can hear a wind noise from the driver side as if it was pushing something and as soon as I let go the the gas pedal, it goes away. But while you hear it, you can feel the car getting pushed back (or maybe lack power). And as soon as it goes away it drives back to normal.

Anyone ever experienced this?

I sometimes hear the wind in my driver's side. But that might be due to the theft/police recovery I had to deal with a few years ago. Someone tried to pry the door open with a screwdriver after the original thieves ditched it in a rough neighborhood.

Maybe your door gasket is failing -- causing air to leak in on that side?

Wind noise or intake noise? They are 2 different things. Are you hearing wind noise getting past one of your rubber door seals?

I got stock intake. Not intake noise. Wind noise. I've seen some thread same as this but they couldn't find the solution to this. There's no air leak or nothing (I've checked)

how did yo u check? what did you check for? You dont have to feel anything for there to be a small spot where the gasket is no longer applying as much pressure to let noise past.

Wind noise could be anything from the windshield to car aerodynamics to a weak rubber seal when you shut your door. Personally, I've got intake noise from an aftermarket intake, and once that was installed, I no longer noticed any wind noise, which was there was due to someone trying to pry my drivers side door open some years back, unfortunately. So there ya go, you can either install an intake and listen to that, keep your music turned up, or check/replace all seals. Oh, btw, although my door jam is slightly bent, NO water gets into the interior of the car when I pressure wash it.

dont jump to extreme conclusions right away. if its wind noise, on my 01 TL and numerous Honda/Acuras i have owned, if you just tap the window switch up/down a little bit with the window all the way up it (the wind noise) will come and go. not much you can really do about it though except play with it til it stops every time you hear the noise. you can really adjust the window out of it.
