ok...so I removed the resonator box...but when I removed the front bumper this styrofoam piece shaped like the bumper with 2 plastic inserts (look like they cover the fog lights somehow) fell out.. I didn't know how it went back (not to mention 1 of the plastic inserts broke) so after playing with it a while I said screw it and left it out.
so a couple questions

how does that thing go back in?
is it important to have in there?

also follow up ques
after puttingt bumper back on I notice a gap between the bumper and the car...is that always there?...I mean if I get close enough I can see the tabs on the inside of the bumper....it seems like too big of a gap....but everything is on and tight???

i think it's for crashes, for like the 5mph slow crashes?!?

i have never had my bumper off (SRI not CAI so no need to remove res) so i'm sorry im not much help beyond my guess

 

IT GOES IN ANYWAY IT FITS IN......and for the gap, did u forget to put the screws (in the wheelwells) back in???
