Wheel Bearing?

So, my TL has needed tires since I bought it. Finally got some on there yesterday.
When I got it, there was a pulsating noise, sounded like a bad tire, almost like a 4x4 all terrain type sound. Figured that when I put new tires on it, it would go away.
Well, pulled out of the tire shop, and the noise is still there. Sounds like it's coming from the right rear wheel area. Varies with vehicle speed, no difference whether driving straight or turning.
My guess is a wheel bearing.
Thoughts/Advice?
How difficult is a rear wheel bearing to change?

pretty easy--should be in the diy or search for rear wheel bearing and it should pop up

In my experience a wheel bearing would change tone when loaded (on turns).

Try jacking a rear wheel and listen to the hub with a mechanics stethoscope (or an empty paper-towel tube).

You could also pull the jacked wheel in different directions (left-right) to see if you have a minuscule amount of play...you should NOT be able to feel anything or hear any knocking.

what did you have to remove to get to that point kris?

iirc the brake shoes are optional to remove in cases where bearing isnt self welding onto the shaft?

Remove the caliper, Rotor and spindle nut. I had to take the parking brake shoes off because i had a frozen bearing. Once off a couple blows with the chisel and it popped right off.
