yea i was drivin like an hour ago and noticed it just stayed on, what is it?

 

Supp restraint system- the airbags-- are turned off
Gen2 has a special extended 10 year warranty on it
Call the dealer and get in right away- you have no airbag operation right now

 

oh ok thanks for the info i got an appointment tomorrow to change the timing belt and waterpump (im at 108,000) ill just tell them to take a look at it, i was just hoping it wasnt anything with the engine or tranny

 

This is fot the airbag on the passenger seat.
If there is weight on it, under 80 pounds it disables the airbag. If you have a bag or light child in the seat it will turn on the light.

 

The RED- SRS light is main system failure- and often covered by the special 10 year 150k miles warranty- contact dealer immediatly

The YELLOW-- SIDE Airbag off - is when the weight sensor in the passenger front seat gets tricked and temporarily disables `it only`
