What’s wrong with my car???

Hey guys I have noticed something with my car that happens every once in a while
when I’m at low speeds (10mph) and I step on the accelerator, the car does not respond for a second or two, but then the car gets this STRONG shove (as if I had clicked some nitrous button in a video game). The shove is so strong that if I didn’t have my seatbelt on; I would probably fly through the windshield.

I have owned the car for around 7 months and it has done it like 5-6 times already.

Can someone please tell me what’s wrong with my car, and how much it would cost to repair such a thing.

+1!

I assume you mean to say that the force is enough to pin you to your seat. Physics aside, there could be a few reasons for this....
Are any lights ever on? Is your diag. throwing any codes?

I experienced a similar problem when my knock sensor went out on a previous car...
