water vapour in headlight

water vapour in headlight

I noticed some vapour inside surfacie of my left headlight.
2003- tls- 69000k.
what is the problem and what should I do?

Condensation in the headlights is a bad thing ... can cause your HID ballast to blow. Very expensive to replace.

Check to see if there are any leaks anywhere. You might have to get some all-weather silicone and reseal the headlight housing.

Search around to see how to take the bumper off your car and take the headlight housing off and seal. If you take it to the dealership ... $$$ on labor.

Honestly, it's not that hard to take the bumper off. I was a 'novice' with car fixing / DIY ... but it's been engineered to be taken off / put on very easily.

chech the DIY section for clearing or blacking out the headlights
That will show you how to take them apart and reseal
or Buy replacement housing pair for about 200$
