Water in foglight

I noticed the other night my driver side foglight was out. When I took a look I saw there was a 1/2" puddle of water pooled in the foglight. The kicker is that the lens is fine.......I'm not sure how the water got in.

Anyone have this issue? What's the fix? Where could this water have come from?

Bad seal on the back near the bulb opening or a crack in the housing. Take out the assembly and do a close inspection. If you don't know how to remove the assembly, There is a 10mm bolt that can be accessed with a ratchet and extension through the square hole on the bottom of the front lip bumper. Take out the bolt, and use a flathead screwdriver to wedge out the lens (very carefully) It should pop out rather easily unless there is a lot of gunk making it stick a little. Drain the water out and see if the water seeps out somewhere other than the hole for the bulb.

If you have a small hole, you may not be able to see it immediately, but one trip through a high pressure car wash can fill a housing quickly!
